How To Ace Your Groom Prep!
I know, I know! All the guys sitting next to you while you’re reading this are rolling their eyes! But if you really want to make the most out of your photos and you want them to look great, here are my top tips for acing groom prep.
Get to Bed Early!
YAWN! But you’ll thank me in the morning I promise. As tempting as it is, opt for an earlier night in! By all means have a couple of drinks and a laugh with your mates, but try to avoid getting absolutely plastered the night before your wedding day. You’ll wake up feeling refreshed and ready to see out a pretty long day, plus you’ll appreciate it a little more when you can see your fiancé/fiancée coming up the aisle without the urge to duck behind the pews and vomit!
Keep it Tidy Fools!
Boring, but so true. If you can contain any mess to a cupboard or small space, it will make your photos look much better and you are less likely to lose something – I say this from many games of hunt the pocket square from the suit wrappers! Grooms do get it a little harder than Brides when it comes to wedding prep, it is usually a large group of guys shoved into a room so small, even Harry Potter would turn his nose up at it trying to fight for elbow room! Venues where you provide equally spaced rooms for both sets of prep, we see you and we appreciate you!

The Breakfast of Champions!
You’ve heard it before, eating is cheating right? Not on your wedding morning! Sit down with your wedding party and enjoy a hearty feast! Push past the pre-wedding nerves and the urge to drink on an empty stomach. Go and get yourself some grub.
Give Yourself Plenty of Time!
We usually advise Brides to be in their dresses 45 minutes to an hour before the ceremony, mainly so they get a chance to relax and get those all important pre-wedding shots, it also allows for time if something goes wrong. Which believe us, it happens! We advise the same with Grooms, get in your suits with plenty of time to spare. It will give you time to make sure everyone is suited and booted properly, make sure that everyone knows their roles before the ceremony begins and more importantly gives you ample time to head to the bar before the formalities begin.

Lean on Your Groomsmen!
Okay no literally, you know more than likely most of your friends would just drop you! But there is a reason why you have picked the guys around you, to be your support on this very special day. Do not be afraid to delegate duties and send them to work. It’s important that you avoid the stress on your wedding day and they are there to relieve that for you. If you’re reading this now and you’re thinking “Oooh I don’t know who I’d leave to do that”, may we suggest you have a think about the people you have picked to be in your wedding party.
And that is how to ace your Groom prep! I (I being Lacey) am always on hand during your prep to help you out. I've attached button holes, folded pocket squares and generally helped dress and shepherd everyone to the ceremony. It is one of the many privileges of my role to ensure that you look great before your other half comes up the aisle. It is one of the reasons why working in a team of two works so well! We're such a hands on team, it's great that we can support both sets of wedding prep before you say I Do.
