Married at the Stunning Bressingham Hall

We absolutely love when we get the chance to capture the days of people we know! There is something so meaningful about being asked to photograph one of the most special days they'll share together. Nathan and Katie decided on Bressingham Hall for their wedding venue and we couldn't have been more thrilled. The day started off calm with a quiet hum of excitement under the surface from Katie and her bridesmaids.

Nathan and Katie are passionate about their faith and wanted to include their church and values as a centre point of their day. Sally and I really enjoyed watching everyone come together to celebrate and to listen to a ceremony that was so personal to them. Their ceremony was complimented by songs from their churches worship team and it really added to intimacy of the ceremony.

The Grounds of Bressingham

After the ceremony the newly weds were met with a confetti throw and surrounded with congratulations and too many hugs to count! We managed to nip Nathan and Katie away to the grounds for a quick breather and the first set of their couples photos. It is so important to note, that when we had our pre-wedding meeting with them, Nathan and Katie told us they were not natural in front of the camera and incredibly camera shy. Well you could've fooled us! They were so beautifully, comfortable in each others company that Sally and I were able to pop them off on a few walks with limited interjection from us to create an incredible first set of images.

Bressingham Hall is home to the most amazing gardens, it was so easy for us to duck behind bushes and trees and leave these two to just embrace newly married life. Whoever is in charge of keeping those gardens lush all year round, we salute you!

The Gallopers!

What wedding would be complete at Bressingham without a ride on the famous Gallopers? Nathan and Katie went off shortly after they devoured a hearty wedding breakfast for some well deserved fun. The images of them and their family are so joyous and we loved every second of our own little rides on the carousel. After a second, quick round of couple photos we headed back to the venue for a cake cut and welcomed back the Church band, who did a lovely set.

Nathan and Katie chose not to do a first dance, which we loved! Because they stayed authentic to themselves and the fact that they're quite private people who wouldn't enjoy it, so they binned it off. Instead, they opened up the floor to their family and brought out games and evening snacks for everyone to enjoy a quiet, intimate evening.

It is safe to say that our first wedding at Bressingham Hall was unforgettable! Here's to many more in the future.
