When you've spent a ridiculous number of hours planning your day, it's no surprise that most couples report post wedding blues. What do you use pinterest for now? We think, you should use it to plan a Rock the Frock shoot! Instead of packing your dress away in the loft, never to be seen again, get back in it! Turn it into a post wedding adventure shoot.
Maybe you loved the idea of a beach wedding? Maybe you're a wild child at heart who loves the forest? Perhaps you wanted to use coloured smoke but the venue wasn't able to allow it? You wanted to have your horse or your beloved dog but it wasn't possible? A Rock the Frock shoot gives you the chance to do what you couldn't! Who doesn't want to get back in their dress at least one more time?
Matt and Shelley's Rock the Frock
Matt and Shelley had a glorious wedding at Glen Lodge. It was an epic day in September last year, in spite of torrential downpours throughout the afternoon. We got the most beautiful dusk shots of them and they had so much fun. So much fun in fact, they arranged a Rock the Frock with us and we headed to Lynford Lakes.
It had the beautiful forest areas, the water and we had some time and space to be creative. Shelley looked stunning with her dress and leather jacket, a nice contrast to what we captured on their wedding day. It was so good to spend time with them again and give them something to look forward to. We laughed lots, which is a guarantee with these two and they totally rocked it!
There is something so magical about these shoots as there is no pressure. On your wedding day, time passes at lightening speed! We have a time schedule to keep and hungry guests to feed. It all goes by in a blur, but what's great about these shoots, is there's no pre speech nerves, no pull of guests wanting your attention, you can just be you. Enjoying each other, looking sensational, united and loving your new journey together as Mr and Mrs! It's a big thumbs up from us!
